About this Video

Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a well-established, ISO-guided methodology for estimating the environmental impacts of systems including products, organizations, and business models. This presentation will show how LCA is used to create impact estimates using consumer product examples. Topics such as LCA methods, impact indicators, databases, hotspot identification, and tradeoffs will all be discussed and attendees will leave with an understanding of the LCA process from product bill of materials or formulation to final impacts estimates such as Global Warming Potential, Resource Depletion, and Cumulative Energy Demand, among others.
