About this Video

Curious to learn more about Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions and how they are calculated? This LCA Institute session will introduce (at a high level) all of the major methods used to estimate the quantities of CO2-equivalent greenhouse gases emitted by corporate entities. Through practical examples, we’ll walk through the mechanics of pulling relevant information from typically available sources, such as process flow diagrams and energy bills, and “converting” those data to greenhouse gas emissions to prepare carbon footprints and other disclosures. Content will emphasize the key reporting requirements for compliance with Greenhouse Gas Protocol (“GHG Protocol”) standards.
