Anastasia Behr

Anastasia (Ana) Behr is a Sr. Director at the UL Solutions Science & Innovation group, responsible for growing UL’s technical expertise and thought leadership in the space of sustainability science and technologies.  She collaborates with external stakeholders across standard setting bodies, industry associations, non-profits, and policy makers, to promote science-based sustainability principles and innovation. 

Dr. Behr has almost two decades of corporate research, business innovation and sustainability experience, in biomedical, chemical, and mineral materials industries. She joined UL Solutions in August 2023, most recently from Huber Engineered Materials, where she served as Sustainability Director responsible for business sustainability strategy development and execution. Prior to Huber, she spent over a decade at Dow Chemical in roles ranging from central research to corporate sustainability management.

Dr. Behr holds a Ph.D. in chemical & biomedical engineering from University of Minnesota, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering/Food Quality Control from Belarus State Technological University.
